Andrew started playing the Northumbrian pipes in his early teens. Having been influenced by various styles and repertoires, his main intention is to reproduce the traditional, precise style made possible by the pipes. Over the years he has won many competition titles as a soloist, and he also performs in duet with other instrumentalists.
Andrew is happy to play in formal or informal surroundings, and has appeared in the piper’s traditional plaid for weddings and concerts. He is also available to teach the pipes to pupils of any level.
