Why work with Magnetic North East?

We know that for festivals, promoters, and venues, there are so many agencies and agents to choose from when looking at booking a live artist. So, why choose to work with us?

• We are the experts in the traditional music scene in the North East of England – Magnetic North East has been operating as a bookings agency in the North East (and beyond) for 10 years. We know the music scene, our artists, and what works well.
• We know all our artists personally – both as musicians and people. We regularly watch our artists’ live performances, and so we know the spaces and places in which they’ll work well. You can rest easy that if we recommend an artist for a particular space, it’ll be an informed suggestion – not a guess.
• We value our artists – we collaborate with each artist to form an individualised plan to fit their goals and support their progression in the direction they want. We value our artists as people, and work to facilitate and promote their performances alongside all the other parts of their lives – whether that be other bands, other jobs, or family commitments. We only work with artists that we would personally book ourselves!
• We intentionally maintain a small and select roster of artists – balancing the importance of a diverse range of artists, with the ability to commit fully to each artist
• We’re a small agency, and every artist has a designated agent. We guarantee that when you get in touch with us, you will always receive a personalised reponse from their agent – never a generic autoreply, and we never use AI.
