Windy Gyle Band members Alice Robinson (née Burn), Paul Knox, Ged & Nikki Lawson and Anthony & Heather Robb combine freshness and tradition thanks to having a member born in each decade from 1940 to 1990. Originally formed as a listening band, their toe-tapping music has resulted in growing demand as a Northumbrian dance band. Their caller Ruth Ball also joins in with inimitable driving fiddle when possible.
The band uses very high specification, professional sound equipment which ensures their music has a natural audio quality and volume.
